““Bespoke Homes & Renovations have recently completed the second project of ours. The first project in 2015 was a custom built home of 180m2 in a distinct French-provincial style. This was the first of its kind with many authentic features such as shuttered casement windows, rustic ceiling beams, stone and timber flooring, high ceilings and thick walls. It was bespoke in every sense of the word.
Dean worked with us from the planning stage to help us select construction methods and materials that both met the aesthetic we desired and our budget. Through the planning and tendering process we built a strong relationship and felt a strong degree of trust in Dean and his wife Cara. They were truly a team and very committed to and passionate towards our project. They understood that this was very personal for us.
After the contract was signed we received news that we were to move to the USA. Faced with the decision of whether to hold off on the build or move forward, we made the choice to move forward because of the trust we had in Dean.
We pushed ahead and he delivered this project on time and on budget. Our Architect reported that Dean was very collaborative and easy to work with. We are so delighted with the finished product and it is now a highly rated property in the ‘Dayget’ portfolio.
Fast forward to 2018 and we attacked a substantial rebuild of the rear of our 1890s home in inner city Melbourne. This was an ambitious project in terms of structure, with ceilings of 5m and floor to ceiling industrial steel windows.
The finished product is absolutely stunning. Dean’s pride in his finished product is evident at every turn and he engages a team of tradespeople who adopt the same quality standards as his.
Having had numerous friends fall victim to shonky builders who cut corners or go bust during the process, we feel grateful to have not only had a great experience and a finished product we love and are proud of, but to have made friends in Dean and Cara.
